Dr. Alvarez-Silva was a member of the Editorial Board of the MAYFEB Journal of Medicine during 2016 - 2018. He is currently a member of the Editorial Board of the Current Stem Cell Research & Therapy and the International Journal of Pathology and Clinical Research. He is also the founder and Editor-in-Chief of the digital magazine: Understanding Cancer.
